Description

When I click on a new installed MoinMoin (installed from 1-9-89882824b375.tar.bz2) from the repos, I can not install a the language-files. Error message is "no page packages found"

Steps to reproduce

I downloaded the File MoinMoin beta "1-9-89882824b375.tar.bz2" and installed it. Unpacked the file "underlay.tar" and "chmod" to the correct rights. Created a new user with admin rights and logged in the new wiki.

Gone to "http://localhost/LanguageSetup?action=language_setup" to install the language-files. Error: "no page packages found" !

Workaround

I downloaded the official V1.9.3 relase and extract the directory "./wiki/underlay/pages/LanguageSetup" and copied it manualy to the installed moinmoin directory "underlay/pages/"

Discussion

As you downloaded from the repo, the procedure is a bit different than when downloading a release archive.

You need to create the page packs first:

Run this from the toplevel directory (you may need to install some tools it requires, like make, etc.):

make pagepacks
