After updating pre 1.3 wiki to 1.3 users with Unicode names e.g. JürgenHermann can't login. They get an error message like "Invalid username. You are able to use every Unicode Character and one space (..)"

The problem is usually broken Python. When running the tests, http://yourwiki/?action=test, several user tests fail.

The general fix is to reinstall Python and make sure it is compiled with Unicode support. Its recommended to use the latest Python you can get.
