Sure. But this was meant as  a plugin - extension (perhaps in the false category.)

OK, so anybody feel free to implement this as a plugin action (but it won't go to core). BTW, just as a hint: attachments are going away in moin2, so better do not build on !AttachFile code, but rather use caching subsystem.
