Abstract
What would be needed to use moin2 as a (simple, but reasonably good) blog?
Details
moin2 stores revisioned items that can have:
- some mimetyped data (e.g. a wiki or other markup text)
- some metadata used by moin (NAME, MTIME, CONTENTTYPE, TAGS, editor info, ...)
- user defined metadata (any key/value pair. if the key matches some glob pattern, it is even indexed by whoosh)
moin2 also has a very powerful search engine (whoosh) built-in, so you can easily search for all sorts of metadata or data (manually via user interface or programmatically by some code).
Deliverables: a wiki page describing precisely:
- how it would work
- what metadata/data it uses
- user interface, work flow, data flow
- features, limitations and extendability
Requires: familiarity with blogs, deep thinking 
Benefits
Many people use blogs.
A lot of blog software or services already exists, but if one runs moin2 anyway, one could maybe also use it as a blog. Or a blog / wiki mixed mode site.
Skill Requirements
You'll need to do a lot of thinking. Precise logic and reasoning required. You need to have experience with blogs and their technology.
